NETAIRBENCH will be open-sourced in April 2012
NETAIRBENCH is a software that generates avionics message sets according to a set of user-defined parameters. NETAIRBENCH is aimed at improving the assessment, the understanding and the comparability of techniques and tools used in the design of avionics communication systems. NETAIRBENCH is free for all uses.
NETAIRBENCH is especially useful early in the design cycle when the real data streams are not yet available, for the embedded system architecture design (routing, topology, priority, etc) or for assessing the maximum load that can be achieved on a certain networks. Another interest of NETAIRBENCH is that the message sets it generates can be communicated, overcoming the confidentiality requirement one has with real sets of messages. NETAIRBENCH is used in the design and configuration of AFDX communication systems and is being developed by RealTime-at-Work in the context of the Pegase project.
NETAIRBENCH serves the same purpose as NETCARBENCH in the domain of automotive embedded systems.
